And this is why, in a town called Mszczonow, southwest of Warsaw, a new swimming pool is taking shape. But it is by far no ordinary hotel. It will be named Deepspot, and rightfully so: opening this autumn, it will be the world\u2019s deepest swimming pool. 147.6 feet (45 metres) deep, it will hold nearly 300,000 cubic feet (8,000 cubic metres) of water and give the experience of freediving into space. Built out of an estimated 1,100 tons of steel, it will attract young and old. And the best thing about this place is that it is not reserved only for athletes and those that are keen on diving: it promises an underwater experience also for those, who don\u2019t want to plunge into the water. Thanks to some special features, such as an underwater tunnel that will enable pedestrians to stroll straight across the pool while remaining nice and dry, conference rooms, training rooms, and underwater hotel rooms with a view into the diving pool\u2019s interior, Deepspot will surely be a major success.
