The municipalities can charge up to 2.5 euro ($2.9) per person per day \u2013 the height is defined by each of the municipalities separately. Ljubljana, the capital, has already introduced the new tourist tax of 2.5 \u20ac.\u00a0 In addition, the bill introduces a tourism promotion tax equal to 25% of levied tourist tax, which will be introduced at the beginning of the new year.
