Hop on a journey that takes you on a remarkable multi-dimensional tour, which explores the traditions, triumphs, sights and last but not least the sounds that have made Wimbledon the most coveted title in tennis.

Thanks to the late Tom Todd (1911-1984) you today have a chance to visit the museum, which will give you an insight into the history of Wimbledon and tennis. The first exhibition was organized with an idea to mark a hundred anniversary of the founding of the tennis club in the first park in the world. But the exhibition of various objects connected with tennis raised such an unexpected attention that the organisers had no other option but to open the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum. Established in 2006, the museum represents an important cultural sight, which takes you on a journey through the history and evolution of the game. And do not worry; even if you are not so interested in the game, numerous interactives, touch screens and audio guides will make you want to stay there forever.

The Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum is open throughout the year (but only ticket holders access to them during Wimbledon) and well worth a visit. Visitors can explore the collections using interactives, touch screens and audio guides, which are available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Croatian, Portuguese and Mandarin.

Read about the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, by many considered the temple of tennis.
