Itinerary

Day 1: Lyon – until 21:00

The cruise starts in Lyon, which is currently considered France’s culinary capital. Believe it or not: despite twenty-two Michelin stars and counting there’s a great deal more to this colourful city to discover than only food.

Day 2: Châteauneuf – du – Pape, 15:30 – 16:00; Avignon – till 18:30

Pamper yourself at the onboard spa. Choose among numerous treatments – also a whole body massage is an option! Later in the evening enjoy a light show on the Pope’s Palace of Avignon. How beautiful is this!

Day 3: Avignon – until 12:00; Arles, 15:30 – 21:00

Spend the morning in the old tanners quarter of the town, full of antique and other sweet tinny shops. Finally holidays! In Arles you will continue at the same pace. With Café au Lait at the café where van Gogh used to spent his evenings.

Day 4: Viviers, 08:00 – 13:00

It’s time for some water sports, more precisely kayaking on the rapids! Oh, what a joy! The guide will help you make the day unforgettable!

Day 5: Lyon, 09:00 – 18:00

Although the books seem rather old-fashioned, the second-hand book market at the Quai de la Pêcherie in Lyon is full of interesting things. And the basilica’s interior is as overwhelming as the exterior!

Day 6: Chalon-sur-Saône, 08:00 – 14:30; Tournus, 17:30 – 19:30

Today, you will pay homage to the city of Chalon where Monsieur Niépce invented the photography. Also the landscape is more than charming!

Day 7: Mâcon, 00:30 – 18:30

Before St. Peter’s Cathedral, the Cluny Monastery was the largest place of worship for the Christians.

Day 8: Lyon, 04:00 – Disembarkation
