A taste of Istria – Roman era cooking class


Apart from regular offer, which includes accommodation, tours and transfers, we designed a customized tour with cooking classes, local products and wine and cheese tasting to meet the specific needs of our clients. This offer is tailor made for small groups (2-8 people) and promises an unforgettable gastronomic experience of Istria, Croatia. The Istrian peninsula is the perfect combination of the rural and urban, of the tourist hassle on the coast, and quiet, romantic inland, and its cuisine reflects this diversity. The sea gives excellent fish and shellfish, and the forests and hills give plenty of meat, mushrooms, artisan cheese, forest fruits… Istrian cuisine trademarks are various kinds of tasty pasta (fuži, pljukanci), wild asparagus, truffles, famous pršut (dried ham), some of the best olive oils in the world, Lim oysters, and local wine varieties like the white Malvazija and red Teran, but also great brandies like biska or medica.
