Qatar Airways’ New Routes to the Balkans

The popularity of the Balkan Region is increasing and Qatar Airways is taking this opportunity to add two new lines to the already existing Zagreb and Belgrade routes.

From September 7th Qatar Airways will start flying to Sarajevo, and in November, to Skopje. This will make travelling around the Balkans more convenient and bring a whole lot of new itineraries. For instance, it will be possible to start a tour in Zagreb, visit Slovenia and Croatia, and end it in Sarajevo. Also possible to continue from Croatia to Montenegro and Albania, visit Ohrid lake, and finish in Skopje. A totally new itinerary would be starting in Sarajevo, continue through Unesco protected Durmitor National Park to Montenegro’s coastline, Albania and finishing the tour in Skopje, Belgrade or Sofia.
