Started initially as a family business, HAPPY TOURS has gradually evolved into one of the most important and fastest growing incoming tour operators in Europe, with a turnover of more than 20 million Euro per season. The company has been in the tourism business for over 17 years now and is a long-standing member of important organisations such as ETOA, UK Inbound, PATA, JATA and USTOA.
As a trusted player in the fields of tourism in Europe, we handle around 1,500 groups per year – from the moment they land until the moment they depart. We take care of all the necessary arrangements and provide the best possible services. Our aim is to make clients HAPPY and make their trip to Europe worthwhile. We know what Indian loves and have been doing business with few indian agents since last few years. We have our own network of coaches, which are in best condition, Indian food, Best hotels are very essential elements for each Indian travels to Europe, so we are here to make sure they are HAPPY & satisfied. We focus on service as the most important aspect, we also believe Indians are extremely service orientated clients.
With our core markets being Asia, North America and Latin America, we also handle groups from other markets, including Middle East, Scandinavia and UK. Lately, we have seen a great increase in the number of requests from India and thus detected a great potential.
At HAPPY TOURS, we are aware of that every group has specific requirements based on their cultural background and the country they come from. This is the reason why we employ as many as 70 staff members from different countries, who have in-depth knowledge of the markets where our clients come from – and speak their language too. Next to the head offices in London and Ljubljana, we also have offices in many other cities in Europe and five sales offices throughout Asia, SINCE NOW, also in India!
We’re HAPPY to tell you that a new member will join HAPPY TOURS team. Her name is Sheetal Kamble- Shinde and she will be the Sales and Marketing Director for India. Based in Pune, which is located some 200 km from Mumbai, she will further on explore the market and make HAPPY TOURS a trusted travel business partner and a visible player also in the Indian market.
Within 15 years of working in the tourism business, Sheetal handled a great number of groups in Europe. She has worked with companies like SOTC, Europe Incoming in her past assignments. She is proud to tell that she was part of the team which handled biggest group consisted of as many as 2,200 people. She gained invaluable experience while travelling with the groups and participated in many travel road shows and exhibitions. Her passion, dedication and in-depth knowledge of the Indian market inspired us the very moment we met her so offering her a position in HAPPY TOURS was the natural thing to do.
